The ‘Boon On Campus’ project has brought fresh life and vibrant colour to The University of Waikato’s Hamilton Campus with a diverse collection of murals from celebrated artists. 

Lighthouse Co-CEO Craig McClure and the university executive team saw an opportunity to transform what can be seen as quite dominating architecture into colour, stories, warmth, and character. 

The murals create a unique point of difference for the University, adding desirability as a place to work and study. Students reported that after the murals were painted, they found the campus to be a friendlier and more welcoming environment that was more reflective of who they are.
